Web Product Investigation Exploratory Testing API & UI Validation Targeted Automation

I help teams improve the reliability of web products by turning unclear user problems into reproducible evidence, identifying the highest-risk behavior, and choosing the right mix of exploratory testing, API and UI validation, and automated checks.

My background combines 8+ years investigating real production issues for Divi and WordPress users, hands-on QA automation, and end-to-end web product development. This allows me to test with both user context and implementation context.

01

Profile

I am a Software QA Engineer focused on user-facing web products. My strongest work sits where customer problems, browser and API behavior, implementation details, and release risk meet.

At Elegant Themes, I investigate Divi and WordPress issues across real customer environments. The work involves reproducing browser-specific and configuration-dependent behavior, inspecting the DOM, console, network activity, plugins, themes, and environment details, and communicating findings clearly to developers and product teams.

Alongside this production-facing experience, I have built automated API and UI checks, tested authentication and role-based workflows, and created web products with WordPress, PHP, JavaScript, TypeScript, REST APIs, React, and Next.js.

02

Quality Mindset

I treat quality as part of the product workflow, not only as a final checklist before release. Good testing should protect real user flows, reduce release risk, and make issues easier to reproduce, understand, prioritize, and fix.

01

User Flow Validation

I validate how users actually move through a product: what they are trying to complete, where they may get blocked, and which flows need to stay reliable after changes.

02

Bug Investigation

I turn unclear issues into reproducible reports with clear steps, affected environments, browser behavior, console errors, network activity, configuration details, and user impact.

03

CMS And API Validation

I check data shape, missing values, edge cases, content-management behavior, REST responses, metadata correctness, and the contract between backend and frontend.

04

Release Confidence

I identify what needs to be checked before and after release: smoke flows, regression risks, deploy/test workflows, content updates, security-sensitive areas, and the parts most likely to break for real users.

03

Experience

My QA profile is grounded in 8+ years of production-facing web investigation, supported by hands-on automation and end-to-end web product delivery.

Technical Support Engineer

Production Issue Investigation & Web Debugging

I investigate customer-reported issues across live WordPress environments, covering layout, functionality, browser-specific behavior, plugin and theme compatibility, configuration, and frontend failures.

I turn incomplete reports into reproducible technical evidence using browser DevTools, DOM and CSS inspection, console and network analysis, configuration checks, screenshots, logs, and user context.

Across thousands of cases, I identify patterns that may indicate regressions, product defects, compatibility problems, or documentation gaps, and provide developers and product teams with clear reproduction details and validation feedback.

EPAM QA AUTOMATION PROGRAM · DIAGNOSTIC CLINIC WEB APPLICATION · 2025

QA Automation Project

Working in a cross-functional project team with backend, frontend, project-management, and Product Owner involvement, I contributed to validation scope, sprint test priorities, and release-readiness discussions.

I designed and implemented Java-based API and UI automated tests using REST Assured, Selenium, and Selenide, connecting business requirements with coverage of critical user workflows.

I validated registration, appointment booking, results management, authentication, role-based access, negative scenarios, request and response behavior, and data integrity, documenting defects, edge cases, and inconsistent behavior for team review.

WordPress and web product delivery · 2015–2019

Freelance Web Developer

I delivered WordPress presentation and e-commerce websites from requirements and implementation through testing, deployment, client handoff, and maintenance.

I developed custom themes and functionality using WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and tested responsive behavior, browser compatibility, forms, user flows, and CMS workflows.

I diagnosed runtime errors, plugin and theme conflicts, configuration problems, and hosting or deployment failures, while working directly with clients to translate business needs into practical, maintainable solutions.

Featured Projects

These selected projects show how I apply QA thinking to real web products: identifying risk, validating user and CMS/API workflows, using automation where it adds value, and improving release confidence.

Deploy & Test WordPress Plugin

A public WordPress plugin that lets trusted users trigger configured GitHub Actions deploy and test workflows, follow status, review test summaries, and inspect an audit trail without direct repository access or personal access tokens.

Quality focus: Risk-based testing across permissions, validation, concurrency, API failures, authentication, credential boundaries, stored-content security, compatibility, packaging, and gated releases.

Test layers: PHPUnit, seven Playwright role-based journeys, mocked GitHub API behavior, local WordPress validation, a real QA sandbox, and packaged-release verification

Product impact: Foundation testing exposed a workflow-state restoration defect. I documented it, implemented the fix, and added regression coverage.

Seo & Social WordPress Plugin

A public headless WordPress plugin that gives editors controlled SEO, social, schema, FAQ, Open Graph image, and LLMs source-data workflows while exposing predictable REST data to custom frontends.

Quality focus: Risk-based testing across permissions, fallback resolution, REST contracts, stored-content safety, rate limiting, generated media, cleanup, compatibility, packaging, and gated releases.

Test evidence: 24/24 manual scenarios, 66 PHPUnit tests with 262 assertions, 18/18 Playwright admin tests, and packaged-release verification

Product impact: Foundation testing exposed a dynamic FAQ editor defect. I documented it, implemented the fix, and added focused regression coverage.
